The Power of Three annoyed me. They had the meaning of Amy and the Doctor and the meaning of Amy and Rory but, they were no where near the meaning of cubed.
I always have trouble watching “The Fires of Pompeii”, because I know so much about Roman culture that I spend the entire episode mentally cataloging what’s wrong about the portrayal of Pompeii instead of noticing the pure BAMF awesomeness of Donna Noble. Same goes for “The Pandorica Opens”.

It’s weird but I’ve always loved Karen Gillan the person more than Amy Pond the character. I think Karen as herself would have been such a fantastic companion. From the interviews and Confidential she seems so quirky and so much more fun than Amy Pond.
I didn’t like the new TARDIS interior, (the one for the 2012 Christmas special,) because I didn’t think it reflected Eleven’s playfulness. Then, a friend pointed out to me that this new interior reflected the coldness that the Doctor is developing. Amelia kept him alive… What will he turn into now that she’s gone?
I am so glad that Rory put Amy in her place when he said about her pouting for the camera and when he said he loved her more because it’s true. Rory loves Amy more then she will ever love him. Not only did she kiss the doctor passionately but she treated him awfully, she always spoke down to him and frankly he deserves better. He waited for her all through his life, spent 2000 years protecting her in a box and has always told Amy how she’s beautiful and he loves her.
I recently figured out why I haven’t been enjoying Eleven as much as I enjoyed the seasons with Nine and Ten: during their seasons, a lot of emphasis was put on the fact that the companions were regular people. Eleven’s major story arc with Amy, Rory, and River rides on the fact that they were fated to be more than ordinary, which I think slightly contradicts what the previous Doctors were about when it came to companions.
the 9th doctor said he ‘doesnt do families’ the 11th doctor has a wife, a child(jenny although that was the 10th) and his in laws travel with him

If Amy preferred the Doctor over Rory, don’t you think she would of stayed with the doctor instead of dying with her husband?
I really don’t want to see Amy and Rory go. They are some of the best companions the Doctor has ever had and when they leave I don’t think the Doctor will be the same.
