I am truly happy that the Doctor has been able to move on as Eleven, that he’s been able to find some peace and happiness. But I believe in quiet moments, when he’s alone his thoughts drift to Rose, and he wonders, like the rest of us, how she’s coping in the alternate universe with John Smith.
I don’t think that the Bad Wolf was Rose. I think it was the TARDIS using Rose as a vessel to save the Doctor.
Don’t get me wrong, Rose was my favorite companion. But I think David Tennant’s regeneration was even more sad than when Rose got stuck in the parallel world.
If a guy like the Ninth Doctor grabs my hand and after that I start seeing weird things, I’d punch and kick him and ran as fast as I could, because I’d believe I was drugged and he wants to kidnap me…
The actions of the characters are unrealistic, and the creators are kind of irresponsible.
This is not a story I would teach to young girls.
In my opinon each version of the Doctor is a new man, the memories of those who came before him are just thoughts, no emotion. Just like reading a book the Doctor as loved before and will love again. But there is no problem with 10/Rose and 11/River because like a sea captain his only true and constant love is his ship and the sea (the T.A.R.D.I.S. and time & space).
I am currently on series 3, and I really like Martha, but I just miss Rose SO MUCH!
Every time I watch the end of Journeys End I wonder if the same thing happened to the human doctor as what happened to Donna (his human brain overloading), and it breaks my heart.
