River’s wrist in “The Angels Take Manhattan”. I knew there was no way in the universe that she could get out without breaking it, and I still can’t imagine how she twisted to get out and how she knowingly broke it on her own. And the Doctor didn’t realize it and grabbed her hand. I almost cried when she yelped

I was thrilled to see that River and the Doctor were married in such a detached, unemotional way. It gives me hope that it won’t be such a big part of Season 7’s plot because I am so tired of the star-crossed lovers who never meet at the right time cop-out.

It suddenly occurred to me that we will never meet Jim the Fish. In the Impossible Astronaut, when the 1103 year-old Doctor was comparing diaries with River, they bother remembered Jim, although the 908 year-old Doctor does not. But when they meet again in The Wedding of River Song, the Doctor has presumably lived through the missing 200 years, including Jim the Fish, Easter Island, and all the other memories that were recorded in his diary That’s 200 years of adventures we’ll never get to see. And I really wanted to see the episode about Jim the Fish, building his dam.

River Song is a beautiful and sexy, but she’s too old for the doctor (hahaha I know, I know…) am I the only who senses the cougar thing going on? I mean, If it were the other way around, a 40 something doctor getting married to a 27 year old, it would be weird

River’s journal is a linking book from the MYST series. Magically escaping from prison? Sure. It even sounds like the TARDIS.

I can honestly say that I would rather have River show up in the TARDIS and sweep me off my feet instead of the Doctor.

In my opinon each version of the Doctor is a new man, the memories of those who came before him are just thoughts, no emotion. Just like reading a book the Doctor as loved before and will love again. But there is no problem with 10/Rose and 11/River because like a sea captain his only true and constant love is his ship and the sea (the T.A.R.D.I.S.  and time & space).
