Hey guys! Just a note for submissions:

For those looking into submitting photo’s with the confession already on it, please consider going to http://the-medusa-cascade.com/gallery/index.php as it is pretty much a gold mine for Doctor Who screencaps of a good quality. As well, when you’re making them try to avoid putting the text over faces, or having a font/font color that’s really hard to read. From now on if the font is way too hard to read, I’ll either remake it or (in cases where I can’t figure out what’s being said) it won’t wind up published.

okay, i thought i already explained in the last post what happened, but here is my answer: thank you for letting me know, but i did make a post last night explaining that the ask box and submissions are closed because there is too much in there for me to get to right now and they will remain closed until we can get a handle on it.

if i am closing or opening the askbox or submissions i will let you guys know.

there will always be a post when i do these things.

If you cannot submit or confess check through the last few days worth of posts and you will always find a text post telling you that one or both of them are closed.

i also wanted to clarify that in cases like this and you have a question about the operation of the blog, feel free to ask me at my personal blog like this person did.

NOTE: if the ask box and/or submissions are closed, DO NOT submit them instead to my personal blog. my blog is for questions and clarifications only. any submissions or confessions left there will not be made.

Hey Everybody! (update post)

so, i wanted to start off by saying thank you all for being so excited about this blog and being very sweet about it. you guys rock.

also, just a reminder that just because we don’t get stuff posted right away doesn’t mean we aren’t going to get to it.

we have 123 confessions in the inbox so i will be closing the submissions down too so we can catch up.

We admins are busy folks. Cassie has been focused on her school starting this last week and Brenna has had to step down as admin due to an overwhelming and unanticipated school schedule. I myself have five classes i’m taking and stuff i do everyday. because we’ve been so swamped, i am going to bring in my back-up admin CK to help out so we can bring things back under control. as we go and admins leave or take breaks i may bring on others as needed, but i will let you guys know.

okay, that’s it for now and i really need to sleep but i just wanted to let you guys know what is going on.

FYI

if you get a message from me asking you a question about your confession or submission, it means that i can’t post/make your confession until i get a reply, so if I sent you a message and you are wondering why i haven’t posted your confession, it’s because i am waiting on a reply. otherwise, i am working up to it or it is waiting in the qeue. I do not not post confessions, though i am less inclined if i have already posted a similar confession which i will inform you of.

FAQ and Rules

This post is to hopefully answer any questions about confessions and submissions and the generally running of this blog.

RULES

1. While I am all for free speech and will post pretty much any confession whether I agree with it or not, there are a couple of things I would not like to post:

• Profanity- let’s keep this a clean blog, if you wouldn’t say it to your grandmother at church or a small child, please don’t post it here.
• Character Death Wishes- while the hatred of characters is in the eye of the beholder and there are many posts about “I really don’t like this person” or “I hate that person”, let’s keep away from confessions like “I really hope Rory dies for good this season”. okay?
• Repition- please peruse the blog, before submitting, check the tags for the characters. If I get a repititious confession I will simply post the link to the already existing similar confession.

and that’s all right now.

and while I will make most confessions and welcome confessions and submissions, if you have more than 3 confessions to make at a time, it would be a great help if you could wait a couple weeks before submitting more. I am basically on my own, so it would help lessen the load.

SUBMISSIONS

The picture submission option is intended for Confessions you have made yourself, not for you to submit a blank pic and your separate confession.

And while I might make them after I am done with all of the submissions, I will not make submissions submitted with irrelevent images. Like if I get a confession about Amy and Rory with a piture of a jellyfish, I am not making your confession.

ALSO if you are making your own please add whovianconfessions.tumblr.com or your own url to the bottom of you submission, so no one else claims them as their own

FAQ

The font I used for the old style of confessions is Times New Roman. and for the url I use Verdana.

the font for the new style is Movie Poster, Dreamspeak or Indy Pimp (I rotate them out and Caiti is fond of the Indy Pimp) with the url font being Promised Freedom. the color i use for the box is a variation of TARDIS blue with the HTML code being: #194b90

The confessions do not have to cover the eyes, I am fine with making them not like that.

VERY IMPORTANT: I am not a mindreader. I have no idea if you want credit or not. With most confessions I will just leave it blank. And with ready-made submissions, unless you specifically tell me that you do not want credit I will publish it with you as the author, it’s easier on me anyway. So don’t get mad at me if I credited you and you didn’t want it or if I leave it blank and you wanted credit. If you specifically do or do not want credit, you HAVE to tell me.
